Barkley Stays Independent!: So the Dems stay in the majority of the Senate...for a few more days, until Talent is certified and sworn in. I wonder how long it'll last, personally. I think Talent will be in before it's over, Homeland Security will go through, and so will a bunch of the appropriations bills. Barkley may not caucus with the Republicans, but it seems like he'll vote with them. November 26th sounds like a good date to end the lame duck, don't you think?
