Trent Lott and the blogosphere: John Podhoretz weighs in, comparing the Lott incident to Rush Limbaugh's expose that eventually led to the House Bank scandal becoming a major incident and leading to the Republican takeover of Congress. I think every possible thing that could be said about Lott has been said already, and all I have to say is that it hasn't been a good week for the GOP, from the Landrieu victory to the Lott incident. I'd probably post a longer screed, but A) it's 3 AM, and B) The readership for this blog is minimal (Although the people at DC Blows are reading, seeing as they cited my Christmas Tree incident).
