Tonight's random thought: Sheryl Crow (and Kid Rock) are set to perform on the 2003 CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards. After the wonderful response to Natalie Maines' comments, will Sheryl make a statement? Will she be publicly ostracized in the country community for it. And while we're on the subject, how did Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock, two crappy pop stars, come together to create a country hit that actually sounds good? This still boggles me.

Links of the Day: Bill Whittle's latest. Frank J.'s latest Rumsfeld satire. And Carnival of the Vanities #28 is up.

Theme? We don't need no stinkin' theme!
