That's right folks, I'm in Canberra! Beautiful city, but very...sterile. It feels brand new, with a few quirks and almost no life. It's Canberra Day today, so I'm heading off to some festivities after I punch up this entry.
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! A last minute loss in the PL championship AGAIN for my Eagles. 3 in a row. Ingram, Cresnik, Thomas, and Lekavicius are a good base for next year, but next year is next year. Good luck to Lehigh in the play-in-game. Hopefully, the game was quite impressive, so that the viewers got a good taste of quality PL basketball.
The Madrid bombings. Awful, awful, awful. It's another major attack, on the scale of a 9/11 or a Bali. And then, for the Spanish to turn out Aznar, sending a message to the terrorists that they can affect national elections (even if they didn't mean to do that at the time). Now I'm kind of worried about being in Washington in November.
The blogs in the roll will have good stuff if you're missing my pithy commentary.
