In non-political thoughts...:

Amish in the City is one of the better reality show in existence. From the premise to the casting, it's just high quality conflict and at the same time, even enlightening and heartwarming. Execution's a bit flawed, but it seems poised to be the breakout hit of the summer.

I'm also going to watch American Candidate, the show that's been milling about for about 2 years now. IT seems to be mostly a crock, giving just a little exposure on pay cable (even though half the candidates aren't of legal age to run!). But I'll watch and see, at least for the first episode.
